It was an amazing experience to be shared by an incredible family run operation. Ben is a very knowledgeable guide and Dominique keeps a tightly run camp with scenic shoreline views. Ours was a special hunt and capped with his little girls sharing their Halloween holiday by trick or treating in our camp.
Ben's territory has expansive views and was seemingly well populated with moose. His willingness to do what it takes to be successful was apparent from the start and had no sign of letting up.

Great experience Benny and his wife run a good camp lots of food and organized. Warm tents when back from the hunt. Plenty of moose around they know the area well had multiple encounters with bulls before filling my tag. Beautiful area plan on going back. Very nice family run business.

A moose hunt has been on my bucket list for years. Drawing a moose tag in my home state takes forever, and just not in the cards for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my hunt with Benny, Dominique, and the girls. From the very first contact, Benny was very responsive to any questions I had. He also provided all information necessary to make the border crossing a breeze. A gear list was extremely helpful. Upon arrival, it was clear to me that Benny was interested in making a this a successful hunt. The camp was clean and tidy. Tents were clean and tidy as well. Always a warm tent upon arrival from the afternoon hunt.The meals were GREAT, never was I hungry thanks to Dominique. The hunt area was expansive. I have hunted elk for many, many, years and one of my objectives was to learn as much as I could about moose hunting. I quickly learned from Benny many new moose facts, tactics and methods, which made the hunt successful. Hats off to the entire family for fulfilling my dream of a successful hunt and creating wonderful memories for a lifetime. THANK YOU

I would highly recommend DB outfitting.
Dominique and Benny were able to help all three hunters in camp tag out in some very tough weather conditions.
The lodging is comfortable, the food is great, their territory holds a lot of game, and the staff is awesome.
My Husband George and his friend Pete have had a excellent time Spring Bear Hunting with Ben and Dominique the last 2 years and they are looking forward to going again . Dominique and Ben know the territory very well and work extremely hard to get you a Black Bear. Accommodations are roomy and comfortable. The food is excellent. You feel like part of the family. Had a great Lynx hunt with Ben!! Lots of quality animals and quality guiding to match. I found them very easy to work with, communicate with and had a great time just hanging out in the cabin at night talking. Had a spectacular time with Ben and his family this spring (June 2026). Loved the family atmosphere. Ben was great. We saw an average of about 8-10 bears a day. He has over one million acres to hunt. Dominiquie was an excellent cook as well as a host! You won't lose any weight on this trip! Mosquitoes were awful but we managed. Highly suggest thermacell repellents and spray. Their 2 girls were great as well. They have a wonderful family. I hope to return someday for a Lynx hunt.

November Moose - burns lake
2 of my friends and I spent a week hunting in some very beautiful country with Ben chasing after bull moose. I filled my tag the first day. Bens camp on a lake was comfortable and Domanique did a great job keeping us fed with good meals. All and all quite an adventure.
Autumn 2025 - Switzerland
A wapiti hunt in the Canadian wilderness was high on my to-do list. It was a tough but wonderful experience for me as a European. DB Outfitting is a top destination for hunters looking for a genuine experience in nature! The team gives their all for every guest every day. Not only is it a top destination for hunting, but also for culinary delights! I had the privilege of shooting the first wapiti in the history of DB Outfitting. These moments will stay with me for the rest of my life. I can highly recommend DB Outfitting.
Spring Bear 2025 - Iowa
This is my second season hunting with Ben. He runs a professional operation and treats everyone like family. The territory is full of bears and you will have multiple opportunities everyday. My 14 year old son and I tagged out early and got to spend the last day fishing. Great food, accommodations, and company.
Spring 2025 - Tennessee
Had a great time on this hunt. Guides were great and worked hard for each client. Food was awesome and the territory was beautiful. Hope to book there again next Spring.
Mooose - New Richmond Wis
DB Outfitting does a great job putting you on Moose! There is a healthy abundance of animals a great wilderness experience. The camp is comfortable and great meals! Would recommend this outfitter to anyone!
Fall 2024 - Washington
My friend and I went hunting with Ben on a late season moose hunt. We were both successful and had a great time. Food was good and the hunting was great! The overall experience felt like hunting with friends and family, Ben and Dominique are wonderful people and they get my recommendation.
Spring 2024 - Lake Elmo, MN
I would highly recommend DB Outfitting. When I was there, we had less than ideal bear hunting conditions and Benny and Dominique were able to get all three hunters in camp tagged out. Food was great, cabins are comfortable, their territory holds lots of game and the people work hard to make sure you have a good experience.
Winter 2024 - Burns Lake BC
I purchased a Wolf/Lynx combo hunt for January 2024. I had a great all around experience and was successful on taking a beautiful Tom Lynx! The accommodations, homemade meals, and available area to hunt was outstanding. I would recommend Ben and DB outfitting and look forward to hunting with Ben again!

My dad and I spent two years planning our hunt (covid delays) and it was well worth our wait. Saw a lot of bears and we were both successful filling our tags. Great atmosphere at camp, amazing food and the scenery was something else. Truly a family operation and would highly recommend this outfit to anyone.

Great Family Experience. Benjamin and Dominique were terrific hosts to my Daughter and I. They run a great outfit with 5 Star Hunting. My 12 year old Daughter shot (2) Bears and I shot (1) myself. Can't recommend enough.

Enjoyed a great hunt! Although unsuccessful, the camp, food, company, and effort made was amazing! Benny and his family couldn't have made us feel any more at home. His two beautiful little girls and the guides little boy gave the camp a "family hunt" feel. My son and I hunted hard every day but the bulls wouldn't cooperate. Oh well, that's hunting. For anyone planning a hunt, I would strongly recommend you give DB outfitting a try.Benny will give you his all! PS- Dominique will ensure that you do not go hungry. She is an amazing cook and and keeps your tent filled with fire wood and swept out.
Winter 2020 - Fraser Lake, BC
We did a wolf hunt with DBOutfitters in Jan. 2020. We were not successful, but had good adventure. The foot or so of snow that we got while we were in the cabin watching the bait pile out in the middle of the lake didn't help the wolf hunting. The cabin was warm and cozy and the food was great. Ben worked very hard to provide us with the best hunting opportunity and keep us comfortable. We would definitely hunt with him again and recommend him to others.
Fall 2019 - Fraser Lake, BC
My brother and I did a late season hunt with Benjamin and Dominique. Both of them worked very hard to insure that we had a great experience. Benjamin was tireless in his effort to provide opportunities for us, unfortunately we missed on the two opportunities that we had. Dominique made sure that we stayed well fed and that our camp experience matched our expectations. I am planning a bear hunt with them in the Spring, and I'm looking forward to hunting with them again.
